Cloudflare Turnstile
This website uses "Cloudflare Turnstile," a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare"). Turnstile is used, among other things, during registration and when using our contact form to verify that an entry is being made by a human rather than automated software (bots).
Unlike traditional CAPTCHA systems, Turnstile typically does not require active interaction (such as solving puzzles or selecting images). Instead, it analyzes various signals in the background - such as behavioral patterns, browser and device characteristics, and IP addresses - to distinguish between human users and bots.
In this process, personal data, in particular the IP address as well as technical device and browser information, may be transmitted to and processed on Cloudflare's servers. This may include a transfer to the USA. Cloudflare has committed to complying with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in protecting our website against misuse, spam, and automated attacks.
