Every year, the "Bautechnisches Seminar NRW" in Ratingen provides information on the latest developments in construction technology and regulations. Last year, the seminar had to be cancelled due to corona. This year it could take place with a good hygiene concept as ahybrid event on 30.11.2021.
In the context of the lecture by Dr.-Ing. Thorsten Timm Digitale Prüfung von Bauvorlagen - Wohin gehen die Entwicklungen (Digital examination of construction documents - where are the developments heading), the managing director of connectINGs GmbH, Dr.-Ing. Kirsten Stopp, presented the concept and the platform of EvaDAT to the nearly 200 listeners. In 2014, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Harte and she had already reported on the VDI guideline on which EvaDAT is based in the same place with the presentation Softwaregestützte Tragwerksberechnung - Qualitätssicherung nach VDI-Ri 6201 (Software-based structural analysis - quality assurance according to VDI-Ri 6201).
In addition to many positive feedbacks already during the seminar, there were quite a few new user registrations and an extremely significant increase in the number of views to the website afterwards. Not only a successful event for EvaDAT!
